"We first engaged with ºÚÁÏÉç Tutors as part of our preparations for the children returning to London to start preparatory schools. Being based in Singapore the school the children were provided a varied and broad education but (though at an excellent school) it was geared to international expectations and not entrance preparation for the top preparatory schools in London and the home counties.
We discussed our plan, potential long and shortlist of schools and where we felt the need for some additional tuition for the children. ºÚÁÏÉç listened and assessed our needs and expectations, taking time and care to understand us as a family. They selected an excellent tutor who was trained in Edinburgh, but with Hong Kong origins who was well versed in teaching in the expat environment. A fantastic match from day one.
Initially, we had some concerns regarding online tutoring, but all parties worked through it and our tutor became an integral part of the family life. The ºÚÁÏÉç support team in Singapore and London were always engaged and we learned so much more about the process, interviews and overall approach during this period.
The outcome was that both children received offers from each of their top three schools and we were able to select the right school for each of them. The effort of our tutor and the team cannot be underestimated: professional, patient, guiding and passionate to provide a learning environment.
