How our consultancy works:

Our comprehensive offering is divided into 5 modules. Whilst many students complete all of the modules, this provides flexibility for students to select the modules that meet their needs. All programmes are delivered 1-to-1 to ensure a completely bespoke experience for each student.

Undergraduate Admissions Consultancy

Module 1: Application Management

A ºÚÁÏÉç consultant will provide a dedicated point of contact for the student and support through the selected service. The two service levels offered are:

• Comprehensive Service: Ongoing guidance is provided throughout and is suitable for students who are aiming for competitive courses at top universities.
• Shortlisting Service: This will suit students who have an idea of what they would like to study and have started preparing accordingly.

Module 2: Guided Reading and Specialist Knowledge

Specifically aimed at those applicants applying to Oxbridge: Through following our guided reading programme applicants will read broadly around their chosen subject. Within these sessions, a dedicated subject specialist tutor will discuss the themes and ideas that underpin the applicant’s chosen subject, and advise on suitable books and other materials to explore. Having identified particular areas of interest in the subject the tutor will then move the sessions towards developing more specialist knowledge, where the applicant will then deepen his/her expertise in this area, allowing them to make it a central part of the personal statement as well as the interview process. We recommend 10 x 1.5 hour sessions with a specialist Oxbridge tutor.

Module 3: Test Prep Programme

This intensive course will provide coaching for aptitude tests that will underpin an applicant’s application. We will provide one of our Oxbridge tutors who has expert knowledge of the relevant test (e.g. PAT, ESAT, LNAT, TSA, UCAT etc.). We recommend 20 x 1.5 hour sessions with a specialist tutor. 

Module 4: Personal Statement Drafting

The applicant will be provided with guidance on drafting their personal statement. Expert members of our team will review iterations of the personal statement, providing practical feedback and guidance on how to ensure it represents the candidate in the best possible light. 

Please Note: We recommend up to 10 reviews and only provide feedback on drafts; we are unable to redraft or rewrite anything on behalf of the student, as the personal statement must be the student’s own work.

Module 5: Interview Preparation

We recommend three mock interviews, conducted by expert tutors who are familiar with the requirements of the interview process for Oxbridge and other courses requiring interviews (such as medicine).

Postgraduate Admissions Consultancy

ºÚÁÏÉç can support students applying for Masters and PhD programmes at UK universities. Our consultants guide students through the process assisting them to select the right courses and universities based on their previous academic record and the postgraduate entry requirements. Our specialist tutors then support with the required written components, including CVs, personal statements and essays as required by the chosen universities.

Our dedicated postgraduate university consultants can provide advice on all aspects of the postgraduate university application process, from identifying specific courses and subject areas to fit an applicant's academic profile and career goals, to deciding whether postgraduate education is the best fit for a student.

Our full Postgraduate Advisory Service offers students guidance and support through every stage of the postgraduate application process:

Graduate Course & School Selection

A lead education consultant will work with the student to establish a list of courses that fit their academic profile, interests, preferences and goals. The consultant will advise the student on the various course types available (e.g. MA, MSc, MPhil), as well as typical application procedures and timelines.

After building an educational profile of the applicant, the consultant will provide advice on the range of appropriate courses as well as resources for the applicant to explore them further, such as reading and sample lectures and details on open days and virtual events.  

The consultant will work with the student to establish a short list of courses and then provide a document detailing the requirements for each application and next steps for the applicant. The consultant can also recommend any super-curricular activities that may strengthen the student’s applications.  

Application Preparation

The consultant will then introduce the requirements for each application and offer the student specialist support with the various components, such as:

• CV/resumé & personal statement guidance
• Reviewing drafts of essays & other written requirements
• Guidance on developing & writing research proposals
• Interview Preparation

Ongoing Support

As an ongoing dedicated point of contact for the application process, the postgraduate consultant will remain on hand for regular discussions to review the progress of key components of the application and offer advice on university responses and final choices, as well as final examination results and options, as necessary.
