I obtained a first class degree in Earth Sciences from Durham, and specialised further with a master's degree in Sustainable Energy Geoscience from Manchester's renowned subsurface geoscience department. I now work as a technical subsurface geoscience professional.

I tutored extensively throughout my time at university and before starting my current position. I now tutor alongside my current role. I have used a range of mediums/platforms to tutor 1000+ hours across different subjects.

I have A-Levels in Mathematics (A*), Geology (A*) and Physics (A) as well as AS German. I have 15 GCSE's (14A, 1A*) and am passionate about education - it's always been something that's been a core focus of mine and I want to be able to help my tutees achieve their true potential.

However, despite solid grades, I also struggled at times and also had to learn the techniques required to succeed. I like to think this helps me connect to my students, after all, I went through the same process!

I've learnt that, over my years of tutoring, different students learn in very different ways. I've developed numerous techniques, tailored to students' needs to help personalise their learning journey.

My approach has been described as kind, empathetic, yet also firm in its approach to achieving results and creating long-lasting positive benefits to my students.

I work full time in energy geoscience, working internationally and utilising my linguistic skills to develop cross-border solutions to energy problems. I've balanced my work and tutoring commitments for many years now and I aim to continue to ensure consistent and reliable service to my clients.

In my spare time I usually learn languages - currently Italian, French and German. I enjoy hiking and climbing, and I also play the saxophone and lacrosse!
